A Message From Shawn McAssey, Vice President/Mitigation Director

The COVID-19 impact in RI has affected the lives of nearly everyone in the state. Health and government officials are working to maintain the safety of all Rhode Islanders. All businesses, large and small, are attempting to keep their employees and customers healthy. Here at Rhode Island Restoration, we are still open for business. Although this is true, we have had to adjust how we go about our day to day operations. As an essential business, it is our hope that we will be able to remain open for business without sacrificing the health and safety of our customers and employees.

Here at Rhode Island Restoration, face to face interaction is quite typical. Once we are called by a customer, the mitigation director or a project manager is sent to the site as soon as possible. Once an initial consultation has been performed, we estimate the damages and discuss the scope of work with the customer. Following the approval of the customer, our technicians are dispatched to the job site to perform their duties. Following any demolition performed, all necessary equipment is installed and monitored. Once the job has been completed, the equipment is picked up and a final cleaning is performed.

Here at Rhode Island Restoration, we understand the concerns that come with this COVID-19 pandemic. Face to face interaction is prohibited unless completely necessary. Although this is true, when disaster strikes, it is important to take care of the situation immediately. Whether it be water damagefire damage, or any other peril, it is important to mitigate the issue as quickly as possible in order to prevent further damage and adverse health effects. We are still here for you in times of disaster, whether it be your home, income property, or business.

Containment chambers are set up in the places in which our technicians are actively working.
